Power Outage

Journal Entry: Tue May 13, 2008, 6:38 AM
There was a storm Sunday evening. My Internet, phone and cable went out. I've got many messages and deviations to view so please be patient. I will get to all of them. I was losing my mind. The cable guy just came and fixed the problem. I haven't been this happy in a long time.

I thought I was going to die without the Internet. I'm so glad it's on now. I loved Iron Man, you?

I thought it was very good, the only complaint I have is that there are a lot of shared themes between the various Marvel comics (and therefore films). That aside though, I really enjoyed it.

It also amazes me how many films are part of planned trilogies. It almost seems like every film that is a box office hit will have a sequel, and often be a part of a trilogy. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, but I just don't remember it being that way when I was younger. (Though I suppose I'm still considered young.) :P

No, I certainly don't remember it being that way either. The only superhero movie I can think of that hasn't had a sequel and one that I haven't heard anything about a sequel is Dare Devil.

Yeah, it just kinda shows how money drives a lot of things now. :P

They may be making a Daredevil sequel...at least the director said he wants to make another.

"Arad also insists that he would love to make a second, darker "Daredevil" movie: "I would make it in a second, as soon as could I get the rights back. We licensed it. If they'll give us the rights back, we'll make the movie.""

So if 20th Century Fox decides to give the rights to Marvel Studios, they'll make another.
